About the Department

The Department of Urdu at D.N.Y. College has been imparting quality undergraduate education since the college establishment in 1979. The department offers Urdu as an Honours and Subsidiary subject under the B.A. programme of L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga.

Urdu language and literature, covering classical poetry, prose, and modern Urdu writing.
