General Rules for Students

  1. All students must carry their college identity card while on campus.
  2. Attendance of at least 75% in each subject is mandatory for university examinations.
  3. Students must maintain discipline and decorum within the college premises.
  4. Use of mobile phones in classrooms and the library is strictly prohibited.
  5. Ragging in any form is a punishable offence and will lead to immediate expulsion.
  6. Students must not indulge in any activity that disrupts the academic atmosphere.
  7. Damage to college property will attract disciplinary action and recovery of costs.
  8. Students are expected to be in proper dress while attending classes.
  9. Political activities within college premises require prior permission of the Principal.
  10. All students must follow the academic calendar and examination schedule.

Library Rules

  1. Silence must be maintained inside the library at all times.
  2. Books issued must be returned by the due date to avoid fine.
  3. Students must not mark, damage, or mutilate library books.
  4. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the library.

Anti-Ragging Policy

D.N.Y. College strictly follows UGC and Supreme Court guidelines on anti-ragging. Any form of ragging is a cognisable offence. Students found guilty will be expelled and may face legal action.
