About the Department

The Department of Maithili at D.N.Y. College has been imparting quality undergraduate education since the college establishment in 1979. The department offers Maithili as an Honours and Subsidiary subject under the B.A. programme of L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga.

Maithili language and literature, preserving the rich literary heritage of the Mithila region.
